ABS offers Turnkey Solution which will provide cool, comfortable, treated air to employees without having to air-conditioning your entire facility.
Our GEOSpot solution is best fit with geothermal technology. Our GEOSpot solution is innovative & is a novel combination of traditional HVAC & Renewable technology (Geothermal). The solution combine hydronic chilled water space air cooling & warm water space heating in one package
9,500 square feet molding plant where client was going to use 90 tons of conventional system, actually ended up using only 16 tons of Spot Solution, huge cost savings.
Indoor Spot System - The indoor spot system is an innovative & unique system which operates differently from conventional HVAC system. This System uses an approach whereby the new breed of air handlers (Low Air Volume) connected to insulated piping system which can deliver maximum cooling and heating via insulated small high velocity duct system including 2" branch supply tubing that carries high velocity, reduce volumes of conditioned air to be delivered directly to the factory worker. The system as a whole is much quieter than a typical furnace or air handler and duct system that you find in a regular industrial space. Due to lower volume of air, our spot solution provides 30% more humidity removal with the superior & efficient design of the cooling coils, creating a comfortable environment, over traditional HVAC systems of same size.
The Central Plant – The central plant consist of energy efficient water to water heat pumps, thermal fluid, circulating pumps, piping, insulation, & controls located in a relatively smaller mechanical room. Depending on the seasons, the entire system either produces chilled or warm thermal fluid which will deliver to indoor spot units & new coils of existing fresh air units.
Energy Source or Sink - A geothermal system uses the energy of the sun, stored in the earth, ready to provide comfort all year round. Even in the winter, when a blanket of snow covers the ground, the earth's temperature remains approximately 10°C (50°F) at only six feet below the surface. This means that a steady supply of heat is available to provide comfort, even in the depths of the coldest winter. A series of pipes buried in the ground in a vertical fashion. A thermal fluid is circulated through the pipes to make them highly efficient conductors of heat. In the winter, the thermal fluid in the pipes absorbs the heat from the ground and, now warmed up, the fluid is pumped back through the geothermal unit in the mechanical room to deliver heat. In the summer, the heat transfer process takes place in reverse. The fluid in the pipes leaves the plant in a warm state, but after circulating underground, is cooled as the pipes exchange heat with the much cooler earth.
Spot solution eliminates the need to air condition an entire factory space. It also eliminates the need for costly and space-wasting cool rooms. And, although Spot Solutions offers a permanent solution, it's highly adaptable and flexible. It can easily be reconfigured as workers move within their stations or as the production line is modified.
GEOSpot - The Solution which can provide Cooling Energy Efficiency Ratio EER of 25 & Heating Coefficient of Performance COP of 4.5 of Central Water to Water Heat Pumps with variable speed pumps resulting in higher system efficiency and lower operating cost..
We have experience and knowledge to design Geothermal field which is 65% smaller in size than than conventional geothermal field, huge savings resulting in Geothermal Investment that Pays 66% in Year 1 and 80% in Year 2. Overall system payback based on year 1 incentives is 4.8 years.
Expenses that qualify as CRCE such as engineering, legal, accounting, or other expenses relating to the acquisition of the geothermal assets and costs of other services required to make the system operational may be deducted in the year incurred, carried forward and deducted in future years, or renounced to investors through a flow through share agreement.
Note: The column 3 shows the maximum CCA that may be deducted from the taxpayer's income to reduce the taxpayer's taxable income. If the taxpayer does not have enough income than the CCA deduction may be less and UCC may be larger each year than that shown. Under the declining balance method the deductions continue and can be carried forward.

Step 1: ABS can gather information, review or create appropriate documents such as drawings and other relevant information to establish overall geothermal system cost and anticipated Tax dollar savings.
Step 2: ABS will prepare the technical submission, forms etc. in 1 to 2 WEEK time.
Step 3: Submit documents to NRCan on Client’s behalf to get NRCan opinion as to the eligibility of a geothermal system for inclusion in Class 43.1 or 43.2.
By Others:Client’s accountant shall submit written NRCan opinion along with other tax related matters to CRA as CRA is the final authority in this regard.
Unlike the Class 34 requirement, a certificate of technical eligibility from Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is not required or mandatory for inclusion of property in Class 43.1/43.2, however Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) encourage to contact the Class 43.1/43.2 Secretariat at NRCan at any time to discuss a project and request their opinion.
